1.Seamless steel pipe for general purpose
Material: rolled from ordinary carbon structural steel, low alloy structural steel or alloy structural steel, with the highest yield.
Main application: used for pipelines for conveying fluids (such as water, oil, natural gas) or as structural parts.
2. Classification by supply method
According to the specific use, the supply is divided into the following three categories:

PRODUCTION PROCESS
HOT-ROLLED SEAMLESS STEEL PIPE PRODUCTION PROCESS
Main process:
Round tube billet preparation and inspection
Heating: Heat the tube billet to the temperature required for deformation.
Piercing: Use a piercing machine to process it into a rough tube.
Three-roller oblique rolling, continuous rolling or extrusion: Further roll the rough tube into shape.
Tube stripping: Peel off the outer oxide scale to improve the surface quality.
Sizing (or reducing): Control the product dimensional accuracy.
Cooling: Cool the steel pipe naturally or forcefully.
Straightening: Correct the straightness of the steel pipe.
Hydraulic pressure test or flaw detection: Ensure that the pipe body has no cracks or other defects.
Surface treatment: Oiling for corrosion protection.
Marking and warehousing: Labeling and classified warehousing.
FEATURES
The diameter is generally greater than 32mm, and the wall thickness is 2.5-200mm.
Delivered in hot-rolled or heat-treated state.
The process is simple and efficient, suitable for the production of large-diameter and thick-walled pipes.
